"Collectionneurs en situation"
The Art Collectors of the Côte d’Azur

An exhibition at the Espace de l’Art Concret provides the visitor with a broad overview of artistic creation from the viewpoint of an art collector. Echoing the founding spirit of the place based on the commitment of collector Sybil Albers and the artist-collector Gottfried Honegger, this exhibition revolves around the personalities and tastes of those who were instrumental in the creation of this art space. It also includes a focus on the artists’ collections. The entirety of the temporary exhibitions spaces as well as the Château and Donators’ spaces, will house the exhibition in order to engage a dialogue between the private and public spheres, the domestic atmosphere and a collective reading so as to create an alternative understanding of the world of art.
